I created a Canva poster over how nations remembered the Great War to convince college-age students to visit my exhibit. I envision having students take a virtual tour of the National WWI Museum in Kansas City, MO, and the Imperial War Museum in London, England. My poster reflects the different buildings as well as what students will learn from their experiences.

The photo on the left is of Liberty Memorial and is from the Kansas City Parks and Recreation and located at https://kcparks.org/places/wwi-museum-memorial/.

The photo on the right was photographed by Peter Trimming on August 4, 2014 from geograph.org.uk.  The full citation for the IWM photograph is Peter Trimming / Imperial War Museum, London / CC BY-SA 2.0.

The poster will convince students to learn more about the Great War, historical memory, and to develop historical thinking skills through learning how different nations chose to remember the Great War. The Great War & Historical Memory Across Nations.
