I graduated from George Mason University during spring 2020 with a Masters of Arts in History. During my master’s degree, I took classes in Museum Studies and Computational History to learn more about how to improve the visitor experience within museums as well as obtain knowledge of the R programming language.
My background in digital humanities consists of Computational and HIST 680 Introduction to Digital Humanities. My interest in digital public history extends from the idea of how can I best educate the public on topics of historical interest? My learning goals for this semester are to increase my knowledge of computer coding as well as build upon ideas and concepts in Digital Humanities such as Omeka and Mapping. I would love to continue improving my final project from HIST 680 located here.
