About

This exhibit depicts how Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy arrived at his decision to rule in favor of the 2015 Supreme Court Case Obergefell v. Hodges which legalized same-sex marriage. The broader purpose of the exhibit is to depict how the Radical Republicans drafted and ratified the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution from 1866 to 1868 through a geolocation map of primary sources to illustrate the road to ratification.
