The NASA on The Commons site through Flickr contains content and photographs by NASA and other subscribers that depict events such as the Apollo 11 Moon Landing. The website Flickr can store and display various photographs depending on the specific site’s purpose. NASA has the purpose of displaying space travel, discoveries, as well as travel to new parts of space. I personally like looking through pictures of the Apollo Missions. It is an interesting site to explore. The photographs are the property of NASA, a Federal Agency. Therefore, the images are availble to the public as long as they give NASA credit for the original images and reman as detailed as possible in citations.
