Portraits, Photography, and Art through Digital Public Humanities.

NPG-S_NPG_89_3.jpg

This online exhibit is designed to showcase an excerpt of my work while an intern at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery from August 2021 to May 2022. The 50 photographs are a small portion of the 923 photographs that I cropped using Adobe photoshop and uploaded to the Smithsonian Digital Asset Management System.

This exhibit is subsequently designed to promote the Smithsonian Open Access Initiative which allows the public to have access to photographs in the public domain.

This exhibit and website are not affiliated with the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery or the Smithsonian Institution. It is solely meant to showcase my work while an intern with the museum. All credit for photography and images is the sole property of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery and the Smithsonian Institution.

I could not have undertaken this internship without the assistance of my supervisors Alex Cooper, Head of Exhibit Technology; and Mark Gulezian, Photographer of Art and Museum Objects at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery.
